I have served Shorewood Foursquare Church as the senior pastor since July of 2002.

I served on staff at Northwest Foursquare Church in Federal Way under pastor Steve Schell from 1992 until June of 2002.

I have a Masters in Community Counseling from Seattle Pacific University.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Simpson College (Christian Missionary Alliance).

I have been married eighteen years (as of 2009) to my lovely wife Amy. She is an elementary education teacher who is currently teaching Pre-Kindergarten in our Christian School. We have three wonderful girls. Darby is 13 and loves anything to do with sports. Abigail is 11 and loves anything to do with animals and snuggling. Lily is 7 and what she loves changes everyday.

I was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula. I accepted Jesus when I was seven at Vacation Bible School. My life growing up consisted of logging with my father, riding dirt bikes, and playing basketball (I still enjoy these things today if my body permits me).  I was involved in our local church but I was rarely passionate about Jesus.  Not until my mid to late 20’s did I whole-heartedly surrender my life to my Lord. It was in my early 30’s when the Lord called me to fulltime ministry as an associate pastor of a large church. Then it was in my late thirties when the Lord called me to pastor Shorewood Foursquare. I love serving in the Foursquare Church: dynamic worship, inspired biblical teaching, and Spiritual fullness and fruitfulness. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
